New Nokia N9 - MeeGo OS

Nokia N9 smartphone sports a 3.9 inch multi-touch AMOLED display with curved Gorilla Glass, it runs on MeeGo smartphone and it powered by a ARM Cortex A8 OMAP3630 1GHz processor.


Nokia N9 features a uni-body design and the body of the smartphone is made from a polycarbonate material, and it features 8 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, auto-focus, touch to focus, Dual LED flash and it is capable of recording HD video in 720p.

Nokia N9 other features are Built in Near Field Communications (NFC), 1GB of RAM, External memory of 16GB or 64GB of storage, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, WiFi, 3.5mm audio jack, microUSB connector and it is powered by a 1450 mAh battery.

As said, the home screen will have three panels which is applications, events and the open applications.

In the applications panel you will find the list of installed applications in your mobile and in the second panel you will have all your notifications and messages from social networking sites. In the third panel of the Nokia N9, you will find all the open applications in a grid of windows. With the new Nokia N9 you can zoom and pinch to the application you want.

The new Nokia N9 features a web Browser which is based on the Webkit 2 technology and has full support for HTML5 but the disappointing things about the Nokia N9 is that the smartphone does not support Adobe Flash support.

The other feature of the Nokia N9 is that the mobile also has the new version of Ovi Maps, with free turn-by-turn voice navigation. The N9 will also have support for Dolby Headphone and Dolby Digital Plus built-in, a first for a phone. The phone will come pre-loaded with Angry Birds Magic (with NFC support), Galaxy on Fire 2 and Real Golf 2011.
